Project Deliverables :
(i) Case studies in assisting 3 pilot companies to:
- comply with the Communication (45-day rule) & Notification under REACH regulation;
- consolidate chemical information using the (Quantitative) Structure Activated Relationship ((Q)SAR) or other equivalent tools;
- develop the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC);
- provide possible alternatives to substitute SVHC in different industries
(ii) To assist 3 pilot companies in designing a set of REACH audit procedures that qualifies the chemical management system (CMS) for managing their substance information
(iii) To modify and update the chemical database developed under SDF project D07 001 003
(iv) To maintain the Environment, Health and Safety Resource Centre and its website developed under SDF project D07 001 003
(v) To establish a product-oriented database for SMEs in different sectors on what chemicals their products contain
(vi) To organise 5 seminars/workshops and publish bilingual information brochures that provide up-to-date information on REACH Regulation and also to share the experiences learned from the case studies
