(i) An SME Retail Conference to kick off the project and to encourage SME retailers to participate in industry activities.
(ii) An SME Retail Service Excellence Award programme which assesses the performance of participants through a mystery shoppers programme.
(iii) An award presentation cum sharing session.
(iv) Newspaper features and video clips to share the successful cases of the award winners and to promote the importance of customer service excellence.
(v) Fourteen retail workshops to provide practical training in sales and marketing, customer service and store operations for frontline practitioners.
(vi) Four retail talks to provide the latest information about government regulations and topical issues related to retail operations.
(vii) Two company visits to encourage SMEs to exchange views and observe others’ good practice.
(viii) An SME Retailers Portal for project activities update.
