Project Deliverables : (i) A half-day awareness seminar to kick-off the project and introduce the legislation and implementation details of PIC/S GMP in Hong Kong.

(ii) An overseas study on pharmaceutical factories of the US/EU that have fulfilled the PIC/S GMP requirement.

(iii) On-site visits, a one-day debriefing workshop and questionnaire survey to evaluate the gap of current operations in local pharmaceutical secondary packaging companies in compliance with PIC/S GMP requirement.

(iv) A check list for SMEs to self-evaluate their readiness in fulfilling the operational and management requirement of PIC/S GMP.

(v) A consultation centre and a hotline to handle enquiries from the industry and the public on the implementation of PIC/S GMP during the project period.

(vi) Five one-day intensive training workshops on PIC/S GMP implementation.

(vii) An implementation manual which comprises sample operation guidelines and control documents for SMEs’ reference.

(viii) A pilot scheme which helps the twenty participating companies fulfill the new PIC/S GMP regulatory requirement.

(ix) A reference guide which comprises the check list and information shared in training programme.
