Project Deliverables :
(i) Five seminars for manufacturers who have successfully re-established manufacturing operations in Hong Kong to share experience.
(ii) In-depth interviews and study on 50 SMEs to find out their difficulties encountered in relocating their operations and businesses back to Hong Kong.
(iii) On-site visits to 15 manufacturers with operations in Hong Kong to study their business and operation models.
(iv) An interim brief report covering the results of the study and on-site visits.
(v) A conference introducing support services to help manufacturing SMEs relocate to Hong Kong.
(vi) A detailed report covering the results of interviews and on-site visits, case studies of manufacturing SMEs returned to Hong Kong and contacts of service providers, etc.
(vii) An electronic database and search engine to facilitate the searching of contacts of service providers.
