Project Deliverables :
(i) An on-site operation study on local SMEs’ existing maintenance technologies and operation practices.
(ii) An benchmarking literature survey and technology study on other advanced countries’ maintenance technologies and operation practices.
(iii) A gap analysis between local SMEs and applicable overseas practices and technologies to formulate upgrading solutions for Hong Kong SMEs.
(iv) A conference comprising a symposium and three seminars to enhance SMEs’ awareness and knowledge on the updated maintenance technologies and operation practices of the industry.
(v) Three workshops to disseminate the steps for applying the feasible operation upgrading solutions, technological knowhow on fulfilling the latest environmental standards, and up-to-date maintenance techniques for new car system.
(vi) An industry operation enhancement detailed solution report to provide guidance on strategic technological, management and business operations enhancement.
(vii) A work instruction guide comprising auto maintenance guidelines, methodologies, technologies and techniques for fulfilling the latest environmental standards, automobile diagnosis and electronic control devices, enhancement measures for automation in operations and working environment.
(viii) Advertisements on industry journals, trade newsletters and websites to promote the project.
(ix) A video to demonstrate the technical knowledge covered in the workshops.
