Project Deliverables :
(i) Literature review, interviews and company visits to at least six Hong Kong manufacturers, and interviews to at least five global brands branch offices in Hong Kong to identify common problems for Hong Kong SMEs in implementing chemical management system and understand weaknesses of Hong Kong SMEs on chemical management from buyer perspective.
(ii) A web-based e-platform containing a performance assessment function, an implementation manual and ten video training classes to assist SMEs in understanding and implementing their own chemical management system.
(iii) Three half-day seminars to raise the awareness of SMEs on chemical management system.
(iv) Six half-day workshops to provide in-depth training to SMEs on using the e-platform.
(v) Telephone helpdesk service for nine months to handle enquiries on the e-platform.
