Project Deliverables :
(i) An awareness seminar to introduce the benchmarking model and a debriefing seminar to present interim findings;
(ii) A technology and operation benchmarking model with a database capturing the performance of Hong Kong precision tooling industry;
(iii) An online e-platform to collect data from the local tooling industry;
(iv) An Industry Advancement Programme to assist 10 pilot SMEs to upgrade their operations towards world class standards;
(v) A symposium to present the benchmarking model and the suggested roadmap for SMEs’ advancement;
(vi) A manual with case studies to assist SMEs in adopting the benchmarking model; and
(vii) Promotional activities (including printed advertisements and online advertisements).
