Project Deliverables :
(i) Two seminars to introduce the food safety requirements and relevant laws in the Mainland, as well as promotional trends and strategies;
(ii) A technical seminar to introduce the advanced technologies for extending the shelf life of food products for export and the importance of a food tracing system;
(iii) A Hong Kong pavilion to showcase the strengths of ‘Made in Hong Kong’ food products;
(iv) A technical speech during the exhibition to promote Hong Kong food industry, focusing on food safety, quality management and application of technology in food preservation;
(v) A guidebook to set out the standards and legal requirements in the Mainland for targeted food categories;
(vi) An industry directory to promote the strengths of Hong Kong food industry by consolidation information and contact details of manufacturers, exporters and restaurants;
(vii) Webpages to highlight the strengths of Hong Kong food industry and to disseminate project information and deliverables; and
(viii) Promotional activities (including eDMs, leaflets, banners, media interviews, printed advertisements and online advertisements).
