Project Deliverables :
(i) A desktop research to identify the global and local sustainable practices that are applicable to hotels in Hong Kong;
(ii) Consultations with 20 stakeholders to collect information about the stakeholders’ current sustainable practices and the related challenges, as well as their views on the e-guidebook;
(iii) An e-guidebook to summarise the prevailing local and international standards, guidelines and best practices on sustainability for hotels, and provide guidance to Hong Kong hotel industry on the application of sustainable practices in operations;
(iv) Ten training videos to help the industry understand the sustainable practices covered in the e-guidebook;
(v) A kick-off seminar to introduce the project and recruit participants for the stakeholder consultations;
(vi) An experience sharing seminar to introduce the e-guidebook and share the trends and opportunities of sustainability in the hotel industry, as well as the benefits of implementing sustainable practices in operations;
(vii) Project webpages to disseminate project information and deliverables; and
(viii) A series of promotional activities, including online advertisements and eDMs.
