The SME Export Marketing Fund: Website Updates
The online function of “Enquiry on Previously Approved Applications/Application Status/Applicant’s Available Funding Balance” currently provided on this website has been renamed to “Enquiry”. Enterprises can continue to use the function to check and obtain instant reply for the application status of the submitted applications with application numbers issued, application records of the past submitted applications and the funding balance of the enterprise.

To enhance efficiency and facilitate application, we have issued all deferment notice by email to notify applicant enterprises of the outstanding/ supplementary information/ documents required. Please ensure that the contact email address provided in the Application Form is correct. The Department will not be able to process your application if a contact email address is not provided. You may also call the hotline at 2398 5127 or click here for details.
The result of an application (successful or otherwise) will remain to be issued by ordinary post.

Online Application Service: iAM Smart
The SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF) now accepts filling in the online e-Form using “iAM Smart” e-ME. The person filling in the online e-form with “iAM Smart” for and on behalf of the application enterprise is not required to submit the copy of his/her Hong Kong Identity Card or passport. Please ensure that the contact email address provided in the Application Form is correct. The Department will not be able to process your application if a contact email address is not provided. Enhancements to the SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF)
The cumulative funding ceiling per enterprise under the EMF has been increased from $0.8 million to $1 million. Furthermore, effective from 30 April 2021 until 30 June 2026, the funding scope is expanded to cover large-scale exhibitions targeting the local market as well as online exhibitions, and the eligibility criteria is relaxed to cover non-SMEs.
